What the report actually says
Saving KC Homebuyers published a September 2026 pending-sales report for Jackson, Clay, Platte, Wyandotte, and Johnson counties. Pending sales fell across that five-county metro. Homes were sitting longer. About 1 in 4 listings came off the market without selling.
The county-by-county counts live in that report. This page does not restate them, so the figures stay in one place you can check.
What that means for a seller on a deadline
A listing can still be the right path if you have time, the house shows well, and you can afford to wait. It is a weak plan if taxes, a lender date, a move, or a vacant house will not wait.
When listings expire or get pulled, the owner is back at the start. A cash sale is a different trade. You give up some retail price. You get a buyer who is not waiting on a loan, and a date you pick.
How to use the report
Read the full report if you want the county detail. Then decide whether you have the months a listing may take. If you do not, call (816) 429-2900 and ask for a cash number on your address. You can hold both options at once.

Questions
Does a slower market mean you pay less?
Our offer is based on the house, the repairs, the title, and what it will take for us to own it. A cooler market is one reason a listing may not be fast. It is not a slogan we use to hide the math.
Where are the charts?
In the September 2026 pending sales report. That URL did not change.
